Christmas Gift Ideas: A Prestige Hamper Review

Christmas Gift Ideas: A Prestige Hamper Review

Need some Christmas gift ideas for this Christmas? Feel like you always get stuck in a present rut?

I love buying presents for other people, but it’s very easy to run out of Christmas gift ideas. Personally, I love having a mooch around the shops and hoping I see something perfect, rather than trying to find something specific, which often doesn’t work out.

I also love food and wine. So when Prestige Hampers got in touch with an offer to review their Christmas hamper, I couldn’t turn them down!

Lily was also very interested in the goodies inside the chest.

They sent me their Christmas Chest (pictured above) from their Christmas Gifts section. There’s tonnes of choice on their website, from food hampers to wine hampers, cheese boards to fruit baskets, from £20 up to £200+ depending on how extravagant you want to be.  There’s definitely some Christmas gift ideas on their site that you can take away with you.

I was so impressed with the chest. It was extremely well packaged, somewhat a worry when wine is being shipped to you, and the chest itself is so solid and sturdy.

The entire hamper contains:

  • 2 bottles of wine (Water Stop Station Chardonnay and Shiraz)
  • 1 pack of English Breakfast Tea
  • Smoked Oatcakes
  • Red Velvet Crunch Butter Biscuits
  • Shortbread Biscuits in festive shapes
  • Mini Christmas Pudding for 1
  • Iced Fruit Cake
  • Beech’s Dark Chocolate Bar
  • Milk, White and Dark Chocolate Box
  • Tomato, Basil, and Mozzarella Crisps (YUM)
  • Christmas Marmalade
  • Christmas Preserve

There are 13 items in total, 14 including the hamper it’s all contained in. As I said above, the chest itself is extremely sturdy and good quality. Most of the cost of the hamper goes towards the chest, which is a nice thing to keep afterwards. You could use it to store red wine, or to keep craft items in, or even cook books. Whatever you choose, it definitely makes a statement.

You can tell that Prestige have really thought about the products that have gone into the hamper. They’re mostly red/brown in colour, creating a really warm, Autumn/Christmas feeling when you open it. They’re all packaged excellently (no damage to any of the individual boxes or packaging).

I would highly recommend a Prestige Hamper as a Christmas gift to any member of your family or a friend. We’ll certainly be buying more!
