2019 Reading Plans

2019 Reading Plans

Every year I set myself a reading target, and nearly every year, I fail.

I really don’t make as much time for reading as I should, and instead, spend my evenings re watching Gilmore Girls episodes I’ve seen a thousand times (why do I do that?).

This year, I’ve vowed to make reading plans with a difference: I have to read all the unread books in my office before I start to read any others. I want to finally make it through that TBR pile that has been consistently growing for years.

This doesn’t mean I can’t buy new books…..I just can’t read them until I’ve got through all the others. I know this sounds a bit, crazy. But I loved those books in my TBR pile when I bought them, and I will read them at some point, so why not during 2019?

My 2019 Goodreads Challenge has been set to 52. One book per week. Sounds doable for me. The thought of 2 books a week was a little too much. So one book it is.

Below you’ll find my list of 45 books that are currently sat in my office that I bought and never read. These are what I’ll be reading first in 2019, leaving only 7 books to buy to complete my challenge:
