This is a guide for Really Unusual Birthday Presents when you have absolutely no idea what to buy a certain someone.
Every now and then someones birthday comes up and you think, I have no idea what to get them. This guide is here to help you when you’re stuck for gift ideas. You’ve left it to the last minute, you still have no ideas, so you turn to the internet to help you. Well, thank me later. Here is my list of really unusual birthday presents that people will love.
The Book of Everyone
I’ve bought this book three times for three different people. It takes less than 20 minutes to create, is extremely well priced, and can be delivered anywhere in the UK within 3 days, or within the world between 3 and 10.
The Book of Everyone kind of does what it says on the tin. It’s a book filled with facts about the person you’re buying it for. These facts are based upon the person’s birthday and are automatically generated, so you don’t have to do any work! In fact, the whole book is automatically generated. Just put in the name of the person, their birthday and voila.
You can choose to personalise some pages by adding in phrases or even photos if you have the time.
That little symbol at the bottom of the page above shows you that you can edit the writing to read whatever you want. The total book is around 50 pages long, and costs under £25 for a paperback copy.
You can even choose who the book is for: mother, father, grandparents, sibling, kids, partner, etc. I even bought a special 80th birthday edition for my Granny. Like I said, I’ve bought three, and haven’t been disappointed by this incredible company yet.
Monthly Book Subscription
We all know someone who likes reading, a lot. So why not get a book subscription? There are many companies who offer this service so have a shop around and see which one suits you best.
I personally have tried the Willoughby Book Club and they were brilliant. They were one of the best priced (it worked out around £10 per month) and sent hardbacks as well as paperbacks. On subscribing, you can put in the person’s favourite authors. They then send you books that they think you might like based on your preferences.
You can also choose what genre arrives in the post. Choose from fiction, non-fiction, children’s, classics, etc.
Favourite Song Soundwave
Know a music lover? These prints from Not on the Highstreet show the soundwaves of the recipient’s favourite song. They can arrive nicely framed and could contain a song that has lots of memories. Maybe their first song they bought on CD or their first concert, maybe even their first dance.
