Bold foliage
This design really stood out to me. I love how big and bold the pattern is, and also how high it goes up the wall. When you’re putting a mural in a living room, make sure you know where the sofa is going so it doesn’t block loads of the gorgeous pattern. I love the white space in the middle of this one too.
Delicate florals
This flower mural wallpaper was giving me definite Asian vibes, with the colours and the flowers reminding me of Japan, especially when you factor in the style of the coffee table and the oak door frame. This pattern works perfectly around the door frame because most of the pattern is around the edges and not in the middle. If you’re refreshing the entry at the same time, upgrading to quality sustainable exterior doors can improve the look and everyday functionality.
A sofa would have worked well here for this reason, but I love the casual vibes of the bench in the living room too. Finally, the rug adds a little Scandinavian feel, but goes so well. The rug is big enough to stretch under the bench and the coffee table to zone the room.
Scenic views
This mural depicts a scenic view in a living room and I am absolutely here for it. It makes the room look bigger, but the way the view is designed makes it feel like a painting rather than a photograph. My one issue is that the TV is blocking most of the gorgeous view! But the giant palm tree on the left certainly makes up for this.
Delicate florals
This mural is similar to the one above, but is for those who favour a neutral over a bold colour. This mural, while it has colour in it, would likely go with most of your existing furniture/decor. The wooden chairs show how this mural can be styled, but it would just as easily go with traditional furniture, rustic furniture, etc. It is definitely flexible.

This is giving me Friends-apartment vibes and I love it. The brick looks really realistic and I love the whole living room, with the sofa, the coffee table and the rug too. It would suit a rustic look, including a rustic DIY coffee table, but also sleeker, more traditional furniture/decor.

I seem to be drawn to murals that look like they have been hand illustrated and this is exactly that. The design makes it look like it was drawn with a pen, and when you stand back, you get all that gorgeous detail.
This room has a very Scandi feel and the mural is fun and exciting. The benefit of it being near the headboard is that you won’t really see it when you go to sleep, so you can make the rest of the room relaxing, with the mural as a feature.
Fake panels
If you can’t afford panelling, or don’t want to take the time to install it, then wallpaper panelling could be the way forwards. I love everything about this room – how the colour of the panelling perfectly clashes with the brown/orange tones of the floor, the bed cushions and the seat. This looks like a really peaceful bedroom that I could easily sleep in every night.
Faux bricks
Once again, we are back to the faux bricks mural but this time in the bedroom. I imagine that this is a hotel room, judging by that glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom! But either way, I love the use of white bedding, grey flooring and the stand-out orange of the brick. Apartment-vibes again.

Animal scenes
I wouldn’t really have an animal wall mural anywhere other than a nursery, and this works so well. Again, it has that line-drawing feel to it, but the elephant and the plants are just adorable. I love the use of light wood and black touches in this room too. Everything ties in so nicely and it’s a gorgeous chic nursery for a boy or girl.
Unusual shapes
This nursery mural has no rhyme or reason. it contains random shapes, all in neutral colours, that really add interest to the wall. These could be painted on, but if the plaster underneath is in bad condition, it might be easier to use wallpaper. Again, this nursery would be perfect for a boy or girl as it uses neutral colours throughout.
Bathroom mural ideas
Who says you can’t have a mural in a bathroom? They can certainly add interest and colour to the areas where you don’t need tiles.
Bold and colourful flowers
This bold mural adds interest to an otherwise plain bathroom. I absolutely love this injection of colour, and it instantly creates a focal point that drives your eye away from the toilet (no one wants to see that).
I love everything about this, from the bath mat and green-pastel vanity unit to the gold mirror and shelving unit. It all works so beautifully and I wish this was my bathroom.
I wouldn’t advise adding a mural where there will be a lot of water exposure, but this space above the toilet and sink works perfectly.

If you’re sticking to a black and white theme for your bathroom, this is the ideal mural to bring in pattern and texture. I thin this looks so good as a feature, instead of having a full wall of tiles or a plain painted wall.
