Flowers have and always will be a classic decor item in any home. While the type and variety of flower trends may change (dried flowers, pampas, foliage, tulips, peonies), there will always be room for an element of nature in our homes.

You don’t need large, expensive vases either. As you know, I’m all about budget interiors and decorating your home at a minimal cost. I absolutely love the idea of being eco friendly and using old milk bottles, alcohol bottles or jam jars as vases.
Shopping seasonal will keep the cost down too, as the flowers don’t need to be imported from abroad. While this is a more environmentally friendly option, it means you can pick up a bunch of daffodils in spring for just £1!
Alternatively, you can choose a classic bouquet, like the pink and blue-themed one below. Full of classic hydrangeas and chrysanthemums, this might be a little more expensive but well worth it for a luxury look.

Plus their smell can be used in a number of ways – add jasmine to your bedside table to help you go to sleep a little better, or add lavendar to your bathroom to ensure it always smells fresh.
Mix and match your flowers
There are no set rules when it comes to beautiful floristry. The choices you make can reflect your own style and personality, so don’t be afraid to mix and match whichever combinations you feel like!

Mix some foliage, like eucalyptus, in to break up the colours and add some freshness.
Beyond the bouquet: Do away with a vase
Flowers certainly don’t have to go in a vase. There are so many other beautiful ways you can display your flowers and thinking outside the vase can lead to some innovative decor designs.
You can create a whimsical, Alice-in-Wonderland-esque flower chandelier, with trailing flowers that gracefully drape down into the room (fake flowers will work best for this). You may even want to design your own floral backdrop or wall handings using both fresh or dried blooms.
